Tips for Running a Geography Round

Have an atlas or map ready. A lot of geography arguments get settled instantly once someone pulls up a map. Keep one handy for after the round, not during it.

Watch out for outdated facts. Capital cities and country names change more often than people expect (Kazakhstan's capital and Eswatini's name change from Swaziland are good examples). If a question feels like it might be dated, double-check before you use it.

Mix categories within the round. Don't run 10 capital-city questions back to back. Alternating between capitals, physical geography, and odd trivia keeps the round from feeling like a memory test.
